Selective Practice Scores → Tutoring Session Brief
Bring a one-page brief to each tutoring session: the last three timed practice scores, the three weakest topics, one strength, and one specific request. Without it, the start of a paid lesson goes on working out where the student is. With it, the tutor can start teaching straight away — whether you use a centre, a private tutor or a writing coach.

What to put in the brief (one page)
- Pathway + exam month (e.g. VIC selective, around June 2027; NSW Selective, around May 2027).
- Last 3 timed papers: date, overall or section scores, time left.
- Top 3 weak topics with accuracy (from analytics or hand tally).
- One strength to protect so the tutor does not over-drill it.
- Ask for this session: e.g. “teach ratio worded problems” or “mark two writing tasks.”
- Constraints: homework load, burnout flags, upcoming school assessments.
