Can Year 5 students sit the OC test? For the standard NSW Opportunity Class pathway, no. Students sit the OC Placement Test in Year 4 for entry into OC classes in Years 5 and 6 the following year. There is not a separate statewide Year 5 sitting for “late” Year 6 OC entry.
